How Do We Determine Rates?

We establish pay and bill rates that accurately reflect the requirements of each project. We bill for Guild researchers at a markup of 29.9% for engagements of less than 100 hours, 24.9% for engagements of 100 up to 250 hours, and 19.9% for engagements of 250 hours or more. Rates shown in the table below are at the 19.9% markup.

These rates vary based on the research demands, the researcher’s expertise, the time commitment and length of the engagement, researcher availability, client budget, and other factors. Because of this, each engagement is unique; however, we publish the following rate ranges as a guideline:
